Philosophy

As a practitioner of TCM, I involve not only, sound clinical information and methodology, but also my own personal creativity and intuition. The ability to understand a patient's health concerns and truly listening to them are the key elements of successful treatment. This requires the acknowledgement that an individual is the true expert on their own body and the imbalance which has prompted them to seek treatment. With this in mind, I become an informed guide and a compassionate witness to each person's unique health issues.

Our health care system is in a state of crisis prompting savvy health care consumers to seek out a more progressive medical system that provides them with the necessary tools to avoid dependence on harsh pharmaceuticals and the need for costly, invasive medical procedures. Preventative medicine is the cornerstone of TCM, employing time-tested, clinically proven modalities such as acupuncture, Chinese herbs, tuina (Chinese massage) qi gong and food therapy.

As more people are becoming directly involved in their own health and well-being, they are seeking practitioners who will work with them in a collaborative spirit. My focus is to educate and inform patients about myriad ways to optimize their acupuncture treatments, providing them with sound and practical ideas for maintaining their health.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is an ancient practice for modern times. I look forward to serving as a guide on your personal journey of continued health and vitality.
